Speaking Up for Kids with Cancer

Our Mission

The goals of Mira's Movement are to mobilize support for increased federal funding of pediatric cancer and brain tumor research, increase awareness of childhood cancer issues, and provide resources and support for families facing a pediatric cancer diagnosis.

 

Mira's Story

We launched Mira's Movement in honor and memory of our daughter, Mira Brouwer, who died April 26, 2008, at the age of 4, from unforeseen complications of treatment to prevent the return of brain cancer.
